Aims and Objectives
The school is designed to provide the best possible
education.
Admissions are subject to availability of seats and order of merit
based on the entrance test interview.
The school endeavors to provide to its pupils the kind of education
that will enable them to attain Maturity of mind and breath of outlooks.
It
aims at producing enlightened citizens and potential leaders with sound
judgment and unquestionable integrity.
It
is the aim of the school to teach young boys and girls to hold their head high,
to be proud of their cultural heritage, to be confident of the future and of
their ability to realize their ambition for a better life. The school tries to
instill in them faith in themselves, faith in one another, faith in God, and
faith that through knowledge courage, energy and skill they can conquer
poverty, ignorance and disease.
For the attainment of these objectives, the school
has been established as a co-educational institution with its policy centered
round academic, training and development of the desired personal qualities and
sound character traits.
CURRICULIM AND EDUCATION
The
school follows a carefully selected well-integrated scheme of studies up to
middle level and syllabus laid down by the Board of Intermediate and
Secondary Education, Peshawar.
Whereas
English is the medium of instruction because of its significance as an
international language and medium of many advance texts, Urdu is taught along
side throughout the school and it is given its due importance as envisaged by
the government policy. The school provides to its students enough opportunities
to overcome their initial handicap in these languages and enable them through
training to attain a sufficiently high standard to receive instruction through
the medium of English as well as Urdu.
For success in a
test or an examination, a pupil must secure at least 50% marks and should not
fail in more than one subjects.
Home task is assigned taking into consideration both study and recreation of the pupils. At least one and at the most two home tasks are given to the pupils everyday and all the subjects are covered by turn by the end of the week.
TEACHING STAFF
Qualified
and hard-working teachers are appointed on merit to serve in the school.
All
the teachers are required to be not only fully qualified in their particular
field of study but also willing to learn and employ such teaching methods as
promote thought, understanding, inquiry and initiative on the part of the
pupils.
The
staff is given an opportunity to contribute their ideas and skill to the
running of the school.

Admission
Selection
of students for admission into this school is made on merit basis.
Admission
is based on Prior Academic Record, Standardized Test Score, and Graded Writing
Sample and When applicable an Admission interview.
Admission fee
Admission
fee for the year 2003-2004 is Rs. 500.
Tuition fee
· Pre-nursery, Nursery and Class 1 Rs. 200/month
· Class 2, 3 and 4 Rs. 250/month
· Class 5, 6, 7 and 8 Rs. 300/month
Payment of Dues
· All fee and other dues are payable in
advance by the 5th of every month.
· Admission fee and other dues once
paid shall not be refunded.
· Students
failing to pay the monthly dues within the specified period of each month shall
be fined Rs. 20 per day.
· Student
failing to pay their monthly fee and running in arrears for two months will be
struck off the school rolls. Such students if re-admitted will have to pay Rs.
500 as readmission fee.
TERMS AND EXAMINATIONS
The
school academic year is divided into three terms, the approximate period of
which are:
Summer or First Term: - April to June;
Autumn
or Second Term: - September to December;
Spring
or Third Term: - January to March.
At the end of these terms summer, winter and
spring vacations respectively.
At the end of each term, the pupils are given
a terminal examination.
Uniform
Correct
and clean uniform is required to be worn. The school uniform can be purchased
from the school shop and may also be made at home.
